Judo Sports Long Island is a USA Judo chartered academy offering a range of training opportunities. Whether you're an aspiring Olympic competitor, a recreational athlete, or a grappling arts enthusiast - Judo Sports Long Island provides tailored training opportunities!

Our primary goal is to give practitioners a diverse set of skills, enabling them to excel in Judo at their highest capacity.

Edwin Matos - Head Instructor

Edwin holds the rank of 2nd-degree black belt from both the United States Judo Federation and Kodokan Judo. His rank was awarded by Thomas Dalvano, whose lineage can be traced back to Higashi Sr., Aida, and ultimately Kano, the founder of Judo.
